Temporary buildings: types and features

Relocatable industrial units are temporary structures that allow companies to get more storage space almost straight away. They’re ideal for large-scale projects that require a lot of extra storage but don’t have the budget for an upgrade. Relocatables are cheap and easy to install — they don’t need foundations, just a flat surface! Warehouses can set up temporary tunnels next to their already existing headquarters whenever they need more room. This can happen when the company has seasonal output variability or it needs to be a connection between two pre-existing blocks. It could also take the form of a stand-alone structure to shelter working equipment from inclement weather.

Different types of temporary tunnels can be arranged, each with its closing system and roof.

The building is made of PVC textile roof and sidewalls. The front and back ends have a variety of open/close mechanisms, including manual sliding curtains and roll-up and fold-up doors.

In most cases, a gable roof is the best cover for a porch. However, it is possible to provide a single slope roof if there are specific architectural and landscape restraints.

In certain countries, it is possible to get tax reductions for rented buildings. Refer to local rates for information on the tax reduction.

Temporary tunnel – applications

The store’s goods and raw materials are sheltered in certain areas. Temporary structures can be moved around to load and unload goods, even in bad weather. Store vehicles are also stored here.

Permanent or temporary warehouse: the company needs to expand the warehouse available space to shelter raw materials or goods for sale. Transient tunnels may also effectively serve as equipment storage.

Production department extension: Some businesses increase their productivity and need space during specific times of the year. Temporary buildings are the perfect solution for these types of businesses.

Temporary structures are an excellent way to store goods and materials. They protect loading and unloading areas from inclement weather, and they can also store raw materials, equipment, and finished products.

Manufacturing and installation of temporary tunnels

Temporary tunnels are capable of being self-supporting because of their sliding mechanisms. They are highly flexible because of those wheels that move them around, which are treated with lubricating oils and anti-derailment devices.

To meet the needs of clients, movable temporary buildings are individually custom-built. We ask clients to choose how they want their building closed and if they want any accessories installed.

It is easy to set up. The setup time is usually a maximum of 60 days.

Steel structures are made of galvanized steel and fire-retardant-treated PVC sheet. Although most people are familiar with the benefits of steel, they are not as aware of PVC’s qualities. Combining these two materials results in durable, strong structures that are also fire-resistant.
